Hey Everyone! Brian here, on behalf of the team, I want to welcome you to Thrive Project.

This journey so far has been nothing short of phenomenal, many challenges have passed but many remain ahead, and I remain firmly focused on our mission ahead.

Through the valuable contribution and the help of our supporters, our accomplishments thus far has been both a reward and a blessing. Our milestones listed below speaks to our work ethic!

1) 4/19/2016: Thrive Project Co-Founder Joshua Moon and Co-Director Ryan Brinkerhoff pitched to the Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University last week and secured $10,000 investment! The funds will be distributed early June 2016. Thrive Project advanced to the final round of the New York Business Plan Competition hosted at SUNY Polytechnic.

2) 4/29/2016: The leaders of Thrive Project presented in the final round of the New York Business Plan Competition at SUNY Poly’s world-class Albany NanoTech Complex, along with 500 other student-led teams. Thrive Project was the most engaging presentation in the Energy/Sustainability category, which won the Esprit De Corps award. Read more here: ( http://ow.ly/3uNB300cHlB)

3) 5/15/2016: Thrive is now in the preparation stage for our deployment to Nepal from 5/23/2016 – 6/15/2016, in order to field test the SPARK units and teach local residents how to develop their own units in an effort to help build more sustainable communities in areas that are prone to earthquakes and other natural disasters. We leave in T-7 days!!!!!!!

In the coming days, we will work closely with our advisors as we depart for Nepal to implement our pilot education program, build relationships, connections and survey in underserved communities of Nepal. Upon our return, we will work to reassess, and refine our mission and approach in order to realize our vision.

Again, I want to thank you for supporting us in our journey to help those in need. I could not stress enough just how important it is for us to give voice and hope to those who are less fortunate whether at home or abroad. Please continue to support us in the coming days, as we work to serve those in need.
